WATER TREATMENT

Eta Purification offers a state-of-the-art disinfection technology through our in-house design of micro-plasma water treatment systems. Our advanced micro-plasma oxidation systems can be readily installed to a side-stream of an existing water treatment system or in-line. Disinfection of water using micro-plasma treatment is advantageous compared to more traditional methods, such as chlorine or UV disinfection. Firstly, it is more effective at deactivating viruses and bacteria than any other disinfection treatment, while at the same time requiring very little contact time, thus reducing the overall treatment residence time while simultaneously leaving no chemical residues.

AIR DISINFECTION

The presence of microorganisms in air can be detrimental in a variety of industrial settings. For instance, in a clinical setting certain bacteria can cause dangerous outbreaks if left uncontrolled. Microbial contamination in buildings is often a function of moisture incursion from sources such as stagnant water in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) air distribution systems and cooling towers. Excessive proliferation or distribution of microbial growth inside buildings has been known to cause respiratory related ailments. COSMO presents an opportunity to eliminate those disease causing pathogen colonies and destroy biofilms that are prevalent in air handling systems.
